28-08-18 | Policy brief published: Age management
In August 2018, Jelle Lössbroek published a policy brief in collaboration with Jonas Radl (Universidad Carlos III Madrid) and Izebela Warwas (University of Lodz). The full title is: Age management: Workplace practices promoting older workers’ employability.
The policy brief is part of a series of policy briefs published by COST Action IS1409, a network of European researchers studying gender, health, and the extending of working lives. An overview is provided of age management policies in Europe, and the authors compare 'traditional', 'innovative' and 'new paradigm' policies. Based on previous research by the authors and a literature study, several recommendations are provided for policy makers, human resource departments, and older workers themselves.
The entire series of policy briefs can be read here.
