Prof. Joop Schippers
Joop Schippers is our research partner in the Netherlands. Moreover, he co-supervises a phd student within the project on the employability of older employees.
Joop Schippers is a Professor in Labour Economics as Utrecht University, the Netherlands. He is currently engaged in research on older workers, which includes public policies on retirement as well as employers' behaviour regarding older workers. Part of the research is included in the EU-funded project Activating Senior Potential in Ageing Europe (ASPA), which is funded as part of the 7th research framework of the European Union. Additionally, he continues his earlier research on gender inequality in the labour market and life courses, especially on the role of institutional arrangements like taxation, social security, pensions and childcare.
